Quartiere Tuscolano
The market at Tuscolano. We were allowed to take pictures from the outside, right?
One of the housing complexes in Tuscolano. Note the attic loft that is meant to recall rustic farmhouses.
Note the brickwork, this building was made before the popularization of mass production. Also note the inability to open the shutters all the way. Then go back to the picture above and note it three hundred and sixty times.
The adjacent building. The grilles in the attic floor provide ventilation to the building using traditional rural methods.
Libera's housing development in Tuscolano. View of the Parco degli Acquedotti from one of the upper balconies.
